Fox has ordered pilots for two dramas set in the world of law enforcement.
“A.P.B.” from writer and executive producer David Slack, tells the story of a tech billionaire who purchases purchases a troubled police precinct following of a loved one’s murder. The pilot will be directed by “Underworld” director Len Wiseman, who will also serve as an executive producer.
“Recon,” the second pilot, focuses on a rookie FBI agent embeds herself in a suspected terrorist family. Writer “Caroline Dries,” who has worked on “The Vampire Diaries,” “Smallville” and “Melrose Place” will executive produce.

“The Vampire Diaries” showrunner Julie Plec will also serve as executive producer with Kevin Williamson.
“A.P.B.” is produced by 2oth Century Fox Television. Warner Bros. television is producing “Recon.”
